Why Katy Perry is Awesome – My Induction into the Illuminati

IlluminatiWatcherDotCom-Katy-Perry-Dark-Horse-Illuminati-Eye-Horus

ALOHA –

After spending loads of quality time scouring the internet for credible sources regarding the subject of the Illuminati (you won’t find any that don’t have an extremist view – so proceed with caution), and after purchasing Katy Perry’s most recent song “Dark Horse” on iTunes, I have come to the conclusion that Katy Perry is most definitely not a part of the Illuminati. I know, I know. There is an Eye of Horus in almost every frame of the video… she zaps a dude wearing an Allah necklace into dust… but that is a music video; a fictional representation of a piece of music. Besides, I bought the song and sang it while burning candles in a pentagram and yet I still haven’t received my induction invitation to the secret society. I mean… that is how it works, right?

While I haven’t personally checked in with Miss Perry and asked her one-on-one, I am fairly certain she is not the Antichrist. I am also fairly certain that Katy Perry is awesome. Check out some of the causes she’s contributed to over the years: Habitat for Humanity, the USO, Red Cross, and AIDS LIFE.

And while you’re at it, check out her album Prism. It’s like $11 bucks on iTunes.

Kim Kardashion: Bound to Charities

kim

kimEver heard of a little song called Bound 2? Or maybe of the notorious Kanye West? Well, I hear a lot of people mention his “uh-huh honey…” Kim Kardashian, and it’s not always in the best of ways. Some say that she and Kanye are a match made in heaven, since they both have such great egos. But do we ever stop to really examine what good is being done before passing judgment? Take a look at some of the causes Kim has supported with her time and money:

Dress for Success, Relief for the Phillipines, Help for Haiti, Feed LA, GLAD, Keep A Child Alive, Dream Foundation, and more here

You can click on the hyperlinks above to learn more and make donations, too! All I know is, Miss Kardashian has been known to give 10% of all of her earnings to charity. Which is more percentage than a lot of stars or other socialites will be seen donating.

So sure, maybe riding a motorcycle naked through the latest Kanye video isn’t what you were dying to see. But before too much hate is dished out, just stop and consider all the good Miss K does by helping charities like the Elton John AIDS Foundation, or the Dream Foundation. Thanks for all the charity, Kim, and thank you for the attention you bring to these causes.

Meatless Mondays – Beyonce and Jay-Z’s Footsteps

Screen-Shot-2013-12-06-at-2.09.37-AM

ALOHA –

For being supposedly caught up with the Illuminati crowds, Beyonce and Jay-Z seem to have a couple of pretty solid heads on their shoulders. They have started a 22-day-long program in which they will give up using or eating animal-based products. This is inspiring to me, as the longest I’ve ever been able to adhere to a vegan diet is about the same amount of time: 22 days.

I’ve since been eating meat, so 22 days of vegan living is no guarantee, but I do use less animal products now than before. I’m happy to see this power-couple setting such a great example for the rest of the carnivores responsible for devouring their music (and providing those smashing record sales), and setting a great example for their daughter, Blu.  Aside from quoting modern-day psychologists, Jay-Z defends his program through the use of numerology, a topic I will be delving into in much more detail in the coming weeks.

So, remember: Who runs the world? Apparently, according to Jay and B … it’s vegans. Jump on the 22-day program and change your habits!

Here’s a link in which you can find 11 reasons (1+1 = 2) about how much better a vegan diet is for you and your loved ones, and how not crazy it really is:

Russell Brand is more than Katy Perry’s Ex

1362216800

Ok, so I’ve been hearing a lot about Russell Brand lately, and it seems all my friends have some kind of an opinion about him. I’ve heard all kinds of amusing things about the bloke, but one that caught me by surprise in particular was a friend who called Russell Brand “the millionaire who doesn’t want to give away any of his money.” Are people really upset that millionaires don’t just hand out every last cent of their hard-earned money? Probably not on the whole, but his position on the status quo and revolution has recently become viral.

First, I’d love to say a hearty thank you to Russell Brand for using something far more important than his wealth to help all of those of us at the bottom: his influence. Speaking out for things you believe in can be very difficult, and it’s incredibly brave. But second, I wanted to call my friend out, because I was able to research and find that yes, Russell Brand, has contributed to charities, including Amnesty International and the Noreen Fraser Foundation, which raises funds for cancer research aimed at developing new prevention methods, diagnostic tools and non-toxic therapies to treat women’s cancers.  What a guy! Thank you so much, Russell Brand, and keep up the great work!
