“Sometimes we think we have it all figured out and then change comes along and smacks us in the face. It is shocking, scary and usually painful. Why is change so scary, so difficult to grasp or understand? We all need change. It is how we evolve, it is how we become the person that we are meant to be.

I recently had a big change occur that I was unprepared for. I panicked. It literally put me into hiding for two months, and when I say hiding I mean indulging myself into the first relationship I could grab. It was all about whatever was easiest, and whatever was comfortable. Once I was there (which didn’t take long) I was in deep. There were days when me and this guy wouldn’t get out of bed. I was broke, jobless, showless and literally hiding under the blankets. Yes I had a guy to keep me company but it was all a distraction to keep me away from the change that needed to take place.” Billie
